Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Orison (“the Service”), operated by Graybridge Labs Ltd (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must accept on your behalf. Orison is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not create accounts or use the Service.
2. The Service
Orison is a web-based Spanish writing practice tool. Students can practice with built-in Spanish content, bring class material, write answers, review handwriting, use optional dictation, and receive AI-assisted corrections, drills, AP-style scores, and progress summaries. The Service is currently in free beta and features may change without notice.
3. Accounts
You sign in via Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password. Access is limited to approved beta accounts. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping any progress share links you create private. One account per student. Orison is for high-school students, freshman year and above. If paid plans are enabled, billing is owned by the person responsible for payment, such as a parent, guardian, payer, or older student using an authorized payment method. Billing is handled through our checkout provider.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including class material, passages, written responses, uploaded images of handwritten work, optional microphone audio, and personal facts you approve for reuse. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content for the purpose of providing corrections, drills, transcription, scoring, progress tracking, export, deletion, and any progress share link you choose to enable for a parent, guardian, tutor, or payer.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to bypass access controls, submitting content unrelated to language learning for the purpose of abusing the AI, or sharing your account credentials. Do not submit content you do not have permission to use, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
6. AI-Generated Content
Corrections, drills, and feedback are generated by AI. While we work to make them accurate, they are not a substitute for professional instruction. We do not guarantee that all corrections or scores are error-free. Orison does not make school placement, accommodation, grading, or admissions decisions.
7. Beta & Availability
The Service is provided “as is” during beta. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graybridge Labs Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to academic outcomes.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account.
